We have partnered with a large, fast-moving consumer goods company to hire a Utilities Engineer. They have market leading brands across four divisions: Essential Dairy and Plant Based Products, Waters, Specialised Nutrition and Medical Nutrition.

This particular Wexford-based site specialises in Specialised Nutrition, acting in the field of infant and young child nutrition is committed to respecting specific rules to comply with the WHO Code of Breast Milk Substitutes and any related regulations applying locally.

The Role

The Utilities Project Engineer will lead in the execution of Masterplan, Facility, and Efficiency/Improvement projects for the plant, from initial scoping of innovations/concepts through to CAPEX project implementation & execution. The role will involve technical support and equipment ownership while embedding new and existing services into the Utilities & Facilities services team.

With the full support of the Technical Manager and Utilities & Facilities Manager, you will ensure that all Capex project KPI's are met, and where possible exceeded. Project execution responsibility for compliance and adherence to site PRP & NNS standards with the support of the Engineering Team.

The Person

• Degree in Engineering minimum (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent) essential
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a high volume fast-paced environment in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Pharmaceutical.
• Proven track record of on time, on budget, project scope delivery in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience of Utilities & Facilities Project execution, along with Energy Transformation projects, an advantage.
