Our client, a global leader in the beverage industry who is a vital part of a renowned multinational network, contributing to one of the world's largest known brands, now require an experienced Automation Support Engineer for a 12-month contract in the West of Ireland.

This support focused role will be responsible for operating the help desk for automation support. The person will need to be proficient in programming Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI applications and have strong experience with Rockwell and batch software. You will be a key person on the site to keep production turning over.

The Person

• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience is essential in automation help desk support preferably in a food or process environment.
• Alen-Bradley Control Logix & SLC500 programming essential.
• Knowledge of ISO 88 and S88 for batch process control.
• Experience of PLC lateral logic.
• Demonstrated experience of working in a highly automated environment.
• A recognised Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
