This organisation has an incredible manufacturing footprint here in Ireland and one of their plants currently needs an R&D Analytical Senior Manager to join their operation.

The Position

Key responsibilities would include

  • You will lead bioanalytical development processes for peptide products, emphasising the creation and implementation of methods crucial for structural characterisation and QC testing.
  • You will offer guidance in structural characterisation, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • You will be proficient in a range of techniques, including but not limited to MW determination, impurity characterisation, biophysical techniques, and bioassays.
  • You will provide technical leadership in bioanalytical method development, ensuring validation readiness, and offering support for DNA/RNA.
  • You will ensure technical standards comply with regulatory requirements, contributing to the stability and robustness of product specifications.
  • You will oversee all development activities of the assigned team.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical bioanalytical labs.
  • Experienced in bioanalytical test method development.
  • Experience with the following: Elisa, PCR, Western Blot, Assay, Electrophoresis, SDS-Page etc.
  • Leadership expertise, including the ability to supervise, train, and motivate teams.
