Job description

A leading innovative pharmaceutical business are retrofitting and expanding their new Irish facility in the midlands. The company is a global leader in the therapeutic areas of haemophilia disorders and diabetes. This is an established site, so a full program of transformation is underway to complete the works including a number of upgrades across the campus.

The business is looking to attract an experienced Maintenance Planner to coordinate the progress of these business-critical projects. This is initially a 12-month contract with the option to extend thereafter.

The Position

As a key member of the Site Maintenance Team, you will report to the Senior Reliability Engineer and orchestrate the planning process for production and utilities equipment.

You will work closely with key consultants within the business to manage department resources effectively and efficiently ensuring equipment is available to meet production (and development) schedules.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Take the lead in orchestrating the planning process for production and utilities equipment.
  • Ensure the seamless setup of all maintenance tasks on the appropriate systems.
  • Masterfully handle purchase requisitions, ensuring the availability of materials and resources.
  • Craft and revise dynamic annual, medium-term, and weekly schedules.
  • Compile, scrutinize, and report on performance indices for our craft teams.
  • Proactively update maintenance plans, schedules, and spares for continual enhancement.
  • Collaborate in shaping the annual budget and contribute to the monthly review of maintenance costs.

The Person

  • 3+ years relevant experience in a GMP environment.
  • Knowledge of Oral Solid Does Manufacturing desirable.
  • Knowledge of clean utilities.
