Job description
Our client are seeking a passionate and dedicated HR Specialist to join their People and Culture Team and act as a project coordinator. This role will focus on workforce planning, collaborating with various departments across the organisation, and driving key initiatives to support organisational growth and development. Its an ideal role for an experienced generalist who has had exposure to projects involving workforce planning, recruitment, redeployment and redundancy processes.
This is a 12 month contract with scope for extension. This role will be 2 days onsite in Dublin 14 and 3 days working from home.
The Position
- Conduct comprehensive workforce analysis to assess current and future needs.
- Provide expert guidance and support on all workforce planning matters in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team, Department Heads, and Managers to draft new job specifications as required.
- Work closely with management and the People & Culture team to attract and recruit top talent.
- Support initiatives that foster the development and growth of the Association.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment processes and outcomes.
- Prepare and present workforce planning reports regularly to the People and Culture Director.
- Ensure all activities align with the Association's policies and procedures and comply with Irish Employment Legislation.
The Person
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in Project Management, with a strong focus on Workforce Planning, either as a consultant or as part of a team.
- Experience managing redundancy and redeployment processes.
- Knowledge of organisational "right-sizing" principles.
- Strong recruitment and interview skills, with demonstrated success in attracting talent.
- High-level communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical and process-driven approach to challenges.
- Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A background in Human Resources or recruitment is advantageous.
