Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join a dynamic team on a contract basis with a view to permanency.
This role is based onsite with flexible start and finish times.
This is a new role crucial to our client's organization experiencing rapid growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in continuous improvement efforts and will be tasked with managing both existing responsibilities and new projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Navigate through WRC audits, ensuring compliance and implementation necessary improvements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address structured union viewpoints and negotiate internal agreements.
Oversee a considerable number of open vacancies across the organization.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Engage in the recruitment process for various roles across all verticals.
Provide support in Employee Relations (ER) matters, including but not limited to disciplinary actions and legislation compliance.
Work collaboratively with management to address ER issues with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Assist in implementing and maintaining improved standards as per the WRC audit recommendations.
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance HR processes.
Experience and qualifications:
CIPD qualified and degree in relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in HR management within a professional organization.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of HR practices, legislation, and compliance.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to a rapidly growing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in recruitment processes.
Familiarity with ER processes, including disciplinary actions.
