Job description
HRM Search Partners have been exclusively retained to appoint an ambitious HR Manager for Europe for this high performing multi-national manufacturing organisation. Operating in a fast-paced, international environment, this newly created role will be based in Dublin and offers a unique opportunity to drive transformation, integration, HR projects and talent strategies across multiple countries. Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director and collaborating with the US-based VP of HR, you'll oversee a talented HR team spread across Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands, helping to embed a cohesive and high-performing culture.
The HR Manager (Europe) will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR function and supporting the company's ambitious growth trajectory.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organisation's growth and cultural objectives.
- HR Transformation: Drive the adoption of world-class HR systems, such as Workday, and optimise operational efficiencies.
- Talent Management: Lead initiatives in succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Integration & Collaboration: Spearhead HR efforts in M&A integration and foster cross-functional teamwork across divisions.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Champion initiatives that promote an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
The Person
- Over 10 years of HR experience in matrixed, multi-national environments, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or similar industries.
- Is ready for the next step in their career.
- Hands-on experience across all core HR activities - performance management, talent development, recruitment, employee relations, reward, HRIS, DEI, employee engagement, employee branding, succession planning, and HR projects.
- Shows resilience; confidently operates in fast-paced, evolving environments with a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach.
- Skilled at building relationships across geographies and business units.
- Builds trust and credibility through delivery of key HR projects.
- Familiarity with systems like Workday and experience in M&A projects in advantageous.
Academic qualifications in HR or a business-related discipline are required. The role requires travel across European sites, including the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.
