Job description
A leading innovative pharmaceutical organisation are investing into their new Irish facility. The company is a global leader in the therapeutic areas of haemophilia disorders and diabetes. This is an established site so a full program of transformation is underway to complete a retrofit alongside a number of upgrades across the campus.
The business is looking to attract a very experienced Project Manager to oversee the progress of these business-critical projects. This is initially a 12-month contract with the option to extend thereafter.
The Position
As a key member of the Engineering Project Team, you will report to the Director of Engineering and oversight the delivery of key campaigns across the facility. This is a complex and challenging role requiring a skilled professional with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
You will work closely with key consultants within the business to support the delivery of this program of works from concept design through to installation, overseeing project delivery, budget management and ensuring all teams are fully resourced.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading consultants onsite and overseeing vendor delivery against targeted objectives.
- Monitor progress and performance against targeted metrics.
- Support the resolution of cross-functional issues to reduce any impact on work schedules.
- Manage project costings, scope of works, scheduling and change controls as required.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver against project milestones and key objectives.
The Person
- Third level degree qualified in a technical discipline.
- Have a minimum of 10 years' of working in a GMP environment.
- Experience managing sub project teams from design stage through to operational handover.
- Project management certification is desirable.
- Be collaborative in your approach to work and be an effective communicator.
- Engage cross-functionally to deliver on key project milestones in conjunction with the project team.
- Autonomous and a self-starter.
