Job description

Reporting to the Head of Reward, this role is responsible for designing and implementing the reward philosophy and related programs across the group. The role entails enhancing existing practices and introducing best practices aligned with our strategy. The reward philosophy, model, and associated initiatives are crucial components of the People and Culture strategy, impacting various workstreams.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the broader HR team, the Executive Leadership Team, and management to understand business needs and build relationships with key stakeholders. They will introduce a progressive and workable model for the business.

The Position

  • Design and deliver, with the Head of Reward, HR team, and Board, a reward philosophy, strategy, and related programs, including guidance principles and governance processes.
  • Understand the business and the Reward Manager's contribution to its success.
  • Manage all reward-related matters, ensuring alignment with the People Proposition and enhancing the company's attractiveness as an employer.
  • Coordinate the annual reward processes and recommend improvements.
  • Benchmark the reward package against the market, particularly.
  • Oversee participation in external benchmarking surveys, balancing best practices with cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive a high-performance culture.
  • Contribute to the broader People and Culture strategy.
  • Act as a senior HR team member and role model values.
  • Provide guidance on reward matters to managers and employees.

  • Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • Positive, solution-focused attitude.
  • Commercially aware, analytical, numerate, and customer focused.
  • Expertise in reward models, benchmarking, salary surveys, and package design, with credible authority on reward matters.
  • Good presentation skills and ability to interact confidently with senior managers.
  • Degree or equivalent in HR or related field.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing reward models and total reward packages, with knowledge of best practices.
  • Strong project management skills.
