Our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation are hiring a Packaging Manager to lead a large team in one of their business units, based out of their Dublin manufacturing site.

The Position

• With safety being paramount, you must ceaselessly ensure the department is adhering to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure the packaging schedule is achieved weekly, understanding all metrics of the performance to identify gaps.
• Manage large manufacturing/packaging team; coaching and developing employees will be a key part of the role, not only to achieve business goals but also to ensure their progression and retention.
• Maintaining the accuracy of reporting and documentation, to minimise the generation of deviations.
• Identifying areas of improvement from an output perspective and implementing change across the department.
• Providing floor support to troubleshoot issues and lead manufacturing investigations into process deviations. Ensure adequate training and education is developed for teams across all lines.

The Person

• You must have excellent people leadership capabilities, preferably in a fast-paced life sciences manufacturing environment.
• You will have the ability to drive operational efficiency, using Lean Six Sigma manufacturing principles to implement process improvements.
• Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical manufacturing (or packaging) experience.
• Degree qualification.
