Job description

The qualified Equipment Engineer will be joining a dynamic mechanical engineering team. This company manufactures a broad range of vascular devices, including stent delivery systems. The successful candidate will be working with multiple stakeholders across different functions and projects to ensure compliance, reliability, quality, responsibility and performance of equipment on site.

The Position

  • Initiates and completed technical activities leading to improved processes, through the current Data Integrity program in order to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company.
  • Support the introduction of new technology/instrumentation to the site with a focus on Data Integrity (ALCOA+) principles.
  • Support all testing and manufacturing areas to lead and/or input into all Data Integrity business process redesign efforts on site.
  • Lead the Data Integrity transformational change for specific test equipment.
  • Communicates project status by preparing status reports, and by participating in departmental and compliance project update meetings.
  • Understands engineering principles theories, concepts, practices and techniques.
  • Incorporates business policies, regulations and procedures into task completion. Understands the business needs of the company, and has a thorough knowledge of the customer and regulatory needs of the business.
  • Interacts cross functionally with internal and external network of resources. May mentor employees by sharing technical expertise and providing guidance and feedback

The Person

  • National framework of Qualification (NFQ) Level 7.
  • Qualification in a relevant discipline with 2+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Working technical knowledge and application of Data Integrity principles. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in non-compliance with governing regulations.
  • Plans, organises and priorities own daily work routing to meet established schedule.
