The Company
Leading global healthcare company that specialises in medical technology, services, and solutions. They are primarily involved in the design, development, and manufacturing of Medical Devices based in Galway.
The Position
This role will be minimum one year contract, offering a hybrid structure.
Responsibility for development and roll out of an IT System to Manufacturing areas. The objective of the project is to make Lean & standardise development and process to enable speed to market, efficiency and rapid post market changes.
Responsible for planning, initiating, monitoring, and/or prioritising information technology projects and process improvement initiatives and facilitating successful, ontime and within budget execution.
Sets clear objectives that aligns with defined practices and policies and enhances the organisation's internal information systems performance and facilitates adoption of new technologies and systems.
Interacts and works closely with other departments in order to understand and address organization's technical and business needs.
Supports day to day activities for multiple workstream teams through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Establishes meaningful metrics and tracks against them.
Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management, budgeting and issue resolution.
The Person
Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area.
Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organisation.
Requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
